With the milk tea craze taking over the metro like a storm, milk tea shops are popping up here and there, and Filipinos are sure to line up just to see if a new taste awaits them or if it’s the same old milk tea they could put on their favorite list.
This March, a new store is going to change the milk tea game: La+Tearia. Derived from the Italian word “latteria” which means “dairy” and the English word “tea,” La+Tearia is a homegrown concept founded by co-owners Chef Gerick Manalo and Jeri James Fazunila together with their team in 2018.
With the name itself, they aim to parlay the perfect blend of brewed tea and dairy into a one-of-a-kind dessert that will satisfy your milk tea craving.
Giving shaved-ice dessert a new definition with its bold flavored dairy infused with a wide variety of fresh fruits and rich flavors, La+Tearia believes ecstasy can be just a spoon away.
Its texture, which is thin like ice ribbons, is shaved from a whole ice block of goodness made possible by Beko Philippines’ kitchen gadgets.
